It is hosted by NewGenAngels, an angel investment network focused on Africa that was created to foster collaboration among angel groups, as well as the larger investment community. We also have a wealth of industry leaders and influencers giving us their insights into the rapidly growing African business ecosystem.     Whitestone Finance is a boutique advisory firm focusing on raising debt for African SMEs. Prior to his role, Jean-Paul was Head of Africa at the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi (BTMU), one the world largest banks in terms of total assets.

    CFO & Partner at Homestrings/Gravitas

    Prior to joining Homestrings/Gravitas, Tangwena built a successful career in investment banking in both New York and London, more recently heading up Barclays Capital's’ Retail, Consumer and Packaging Leverage Finance business for EMEA.

    Founder of NewGenAngels and Host

    Founder of NewGenAngels and the Founders Hive, Sean is the creator and host for this unique forum.

    Founder & MD at AMPION Africa

    Fabian Guhl has a background in development cooperation and building ICT startups. He decided to turn his focus full-time to building startup with a social impact and founded Ampion, to amplify pioneership in Africa.

    Angel Investor

    Eloho works for a $20bn private equity fund focused on growth investments globally, with a unique focus on sub-Saharan Africa. In the relatively early stages of her journey as an angel investor, focused on investments leveraging media and  technology (and particularly mobile platforms), primarily in West Africa and the UK.

    Director at Aurorae

    Ellen has been working on a broad range of private equity and venture capital transactions out of her own company for the past 6 years. She is now based in Paris and is working with a new Africa focused fund, backed by 2 large corporate investors, for which she sources, analyzes and executes investments.

    Founder of AB2020 and Moderator

Dress Code: The Club Dress Code must be adhered to by everyone entering the club including guests/delegates. Men must wear a conventional jacket and collared shirt and ladies must be smartly dressed.
